Sr. SAP Process Analyst - Procurement/Inventory Ma (Sports Marketing/Retail)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. SAP Process Analyst, whose focus will include the procure to pay lifecycle.
Desired candidate would also have a strong understanding of inventory management processes and how they can be optimized and integrated between SAP and our existing supply chain activities.
As a functional expert of SAP, a core part of your role will include system configuration in support of the most complex enhancements, projects and production support efforts. You will also assist business clients in analyzing business needs and planning enhancements. You will gather business requirements, determine process or systematic solutions, conduct gap analysis, compile project documentation, facilitate User Acceptance Testing and conduct "Train the Trainer" training.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides thought leadership and vision while assisting business areas in identifying current and future system needs for the most complex requests and projects and translates these needs into business process requirements.
Provides thought leadership and vision. Documents and analyzes existing or 'as-is' business processes. Designs new or 'to-be' business processes for the most complex requests and projects. Maps "as is" and "to be" business processes, understands gaps, prototypes solutions and develops transition plans. Creates and maintains business process documentation.
Implements business processes through system configuration for the most complex requests or projects. Validates that the system configuration is correct and meets the business needs.
Identifies and responds to innovation that provides new business capabilities and/or creates process efficiencies for the most complex requests and projects
Ensures accuracy, consistency and effectiveness of processes supported by system
Corrects system configuration defects for the most complex problems, using the IT incident and problem management processes
Participates in transition/promotion of new or changed configurations using IT change management processes
Leads the creation of system usage documentation and training materials for newly created functionality and projects
Assists with quality assurance processes
Acts as a source for direction, training, and guidance for Process Analyst II and Associate Process Analysts
Optimize business processes and measure effectiveness through the establishment of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Advanced knowledge of Package System functional capabilities related to business area being supported
3+ years of experience providing procurement/inventory systems technical solutions(retail environment, preferred)
Experience configuring and optimizing the MM module in SAP or the equivalent in an ERP system
SAP retail experience, plus
Sr. Business Analyst experience to include: Ability to identify and prioritize business needs, ability to collect, express and manage requirements
Ability to conceptualize and recommend solutions to business problems and conduct subsequent gap analysis
Ability to perform Package System configuration
Advanced understanding and ability to execute all phases of Project Methodology to successfully implement enhancements
Understanding of IT development methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and conflicting priorities
