Software QA Tester
Core Tasks:
Setup environment and validate snapshot based VSS backups and recovery of various MS application as specified in NMM test plan document.
The snapshot-based backups includes creating the NMM client resource, defining the snapshot policy, creating a test media (file-type device and advance file type devices) where backups can be stored and start the scheduled backups. Monitor the backups and once backup completes, perform recovery and validate the data that has been restore.
Execute all test cases for new releases.
Non-snapshot based backups include Active directory backups and executing granular recovery of Active Directory objects
Requirements:
Skill-set required:
Engineers shall be proficient in Software testing,
existing knowledge in Windows Server 2003 OS, Windows Server 2008 OS, MS Exchange server 2010, 2007 and 2003, MS SQL server 2005, 2008 and 2008 R2, MS SharePoint server 2007 and 2010
Domain experience in backup, recovery and storage system
