Software Engineer
Entry to Mid level position for a Software Engineer supporting development and integration for United States Department of Defense information systems. Primary Roles and Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
• Design and implement computer software modules
• Support integration and testing of modules locally and at customer site,
• Assist with software builds and systems administration,
• Perform life-cycle maintenance and support of deployed software systems,
• Perform problem solving, individually, or as part of a team, to meet project needs,
• Troubleshoot anomalies to uncover related hardware and software defects,
• Support quality assurance and process improvement activities.
The position will be located in Lakewood, WA.
Basic Qualifications: Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Qualified candidate will have a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or other related discipline with associated software engineering background.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications: Design and implementation experience in designing, developing and deploying Java and .Net web applications, services and clients. Also, experience with web 2.0 frameworks such as RESTful services and web mapping services, familiarity with Linux and MS Windows server and workstation operating systems, and experience in designing and implementing mobile applications.
