Senior Manager, Music Vendor Management
Senior Manager - Music Vendor Management Job Description is looking for a driven, experienced business leader for our Music business. The role includes managing a team responsible for vendor relationship management and negotiations, driving sales/marketing/promotions, and improving overall efficiency of the organization. The candidate would be responsible for meeting revenue, margin, profitability, and process/efficiency improvement targets. Additionally, the candidate will play a leadership role outside of the candidate's direct team in areas such as operations, retail systems, and process improvement. This is a key leadership role in one Amazon's most strategic businesses that continues to experience strong growth.
The Senior Manager of Vendor Management will excel in analytics, effectively managing people/organizations, data-driven decision making, process improvement, and negotiations/vendor management. The candidate will have proven experience delivering results both within and outside his/her organization. The successful candidate will utilize and expand skills in e-commerce business management, vendor negotiations, and leading a team.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and lead strategy for all vendor negotiations on an annual basis.
Development and execution of merchandising, marketing and promotional strategy on an annual basis.
Develop and lead weekly, monthly, and annual business reviews
Cross functional collaboration on necessary systems and processes to support business needs.
Develop and lead team of Vendor Managers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
5+ years of relevant retail leadership experience
Experience with financial analysis and modeling
Experience managing direct reports
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant senior level experience in retail, operations, and/or business management with a proven history of delivering results
Proven experience leading teams & cross-functional projects
Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and vendor management experience
Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
