With offices in Seattle, New York and Dallas, the company has a strong client base with a solid track record of growth and sustained profitability.
Omnicom Group (NYSE - OMC) is a strategic holding company that manages a portfolio of global market leaders in advertising, marketing services, specialty communications, interactive/digital media and media buying services.
We have an immediate need for a full-time Senior Digital Strategist located in our Seattle office. The Senior Digital Strategist will report to the Chief External Officer. The Strategist is the visionary leader who "connects the dots" around business and consumer insights and articulates digital concepts and solutions in a clear and compelling way to clients. This person performs multi-channel planning to support digital initiatives including social media integration, email/mobile marketing programs, search and online campaigns, as well as making recommendations regarding emerging digital and new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Drives digital media strategy and capabilities for the agency.
* Proactively seeks out opportunities to deepen client relationships and "elevate the conversation" within client organizations.
* Works with agency and client strategists and account managers to define, identify and implement digital media offerings in the areas of planning, implementation and reporting.
* Educates and inspires agency and client contacts about best practices and emerging trends.
* Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Creates digital roadmaps to guide execution of programs and initiatives.
* Collaborates with client to identify and scope program requirements and business objectives.
* Cultivates and applies consumer insights through data/information analysis.
* Assess industry drivers and the competitive environment and identify trends, driving forces and major implications.
* Develops collaborative relationships with Business Development, Account Management, Project Management and the Executive team.
* Ensures a strategic focus throughout the entire life cycle of the project(s).
* Supports Business Development team on RFPs and presentations.
* Participates in the development of new service offerings.
Key Success Metrics
* Navigate the client organization to build and manage strong working relationships with client decision-makers; become trusted advisor; develop relationships with marketing, IT, and business executives.
* Increased profitable revenue growth from existing and newly acquired clients.
* Generate demand and sell-through for strategic services.
* Delivery of professional, thoughtful and engaging digital strategies, POVs/presentations, project objectives and requirements, business case analysis, project research briefs and SOWs/contracts.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, marketing or business administration.
* 7+ years strategic agency or consulting experience.
* 2+ years integrating social, mobile and email strategy.
* Proven experience leading strategic digital roadmap projects in a complex business and marketing environment.
* Understanding of market research, consumer insights and digital metrics.
* Deep knowledge of digital channels, their interdependencies and their integration within a comprehensive digital marketing strategy including website, social media, email, mobile and online media platforms and best practices.
* Innate desire and ability to stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies.
* Client relationship skills and strong business development acumen.
* Excellent problem solving and presentation skills.
* Experience with cross-media and cross-platform integrations for data and analytics solutions.
* Familiarity with multiple email platforms a plus.
* Ability to thrive in an ambiguous /start-up environment as the business evolves and scales.
