Omnicom Group (NYSE - OMC) is a strategic holding company that manages a portfolio of global market leaders in advertising, marketing services, specialty communications, interactive/digital media and media buying services.
We have an immediate need for a full-time Director, Production Management located in our Seattle office. The Director, Production Management will report to the Chief Operations Officer. The Production team is responsible for smooth and flawless execution of all client projects. This role serves as a critical liaison between Production Management and Account Management and works closely with the Development team.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of project production and management from start to finish.
* Manage new employee and on-going technical training offerings.
* Defines project objectives and oversees quality control. Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
* Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans.
* Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring and measuring project success at the highest level. Deliver projects on time, on budget.
* Collaborate with client as needed to identify and scope program requirements and business objectives.
* Support Project Coordinators and Project Managers in developing and managing project schedules, Gantt charts, action plans, etc. and improve communication processes to ensure alignment and calibration of involved departments.
* Act as point of escalation for both technical and administrative issues related to the project.
* Defines project tasks and resource requirements.
* Inspire your team to deliver flawless execution and exceptional service.
* Functions as the team's lead problem solver utilizing critical-thinking skills and offering effective and efficient solution.
* Prioritizes work in process (WIP) with production and account teams to keep projects moving.
* Strategic partner to Account Management to drive client satisfaction.
Key Success Metrics
* Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
* Increased employee satisfaction, through development, training and mentoring of project management team.
* Increased profitable revenue growth from existing and newly acquired clients.
* Ensures all resources are appropriately booked and billable.
* Identifies opportunities to adjust processes for efficiencies.
* Ensures smooth running of day-to-day management and operations of the client projects.
* Conduct project post mortems and identify areas for improvement.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree from accredited institution.
* 5-7+ years experience in project management capacity.
* Email Service Provider (ESP) experience strongly preferred.
* Solid track record of managing a large team in a services environment.
* Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
* Exceptional standards for quality and attention to tact
