Recruiting Manager (Sports Management/Operations)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Talent Management and Recruiting, the Recruiting Manager contributes to our success by leading our experienced Recruiting Team in successfully delivering strategic recruiting solutions that allow the company to attract and hire high quality, diverse talent who meet current and future workforce needs that drive our Strategic Plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the development and flawless execution of recruiting strategies and tactics in support of Co-op's and Divisional Strategic Plans as well as the Co-op's Diversity & Inclusion Recruiting Strategy.
  • Provides the Co-op with insights regarding labor market trends, internal mobility and competitor insights that impact the supply of talent.
  • Builds effective working relationships with business leaders and within the HR Divisional to understand our short and long range workforce needs.
  • Establishes scalable and consistent processes, tools, practices and recruiting dashboard to monitor and improve the performance of the Recruiting Team.
  • Educates stakeholders regarding the tools and practices that drive successful hiring outcomes and support regulatory compliance while promoting a recruiting culture across the Co-op.
  • Reviews and analyzes recruiting best practices, trends and developments, internally and externally to integrate relevant solutions that support the overall strategy.
  • Accountable for meeting all recruiting metrics which will be developed, measured and communicated regularly to management
  • Recruits for key positions as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years as a human resources practitioner including 5 years in recruitment. Minimum 5 years leadership experience.
  • Four-year degree (advanced degree preferred) in business, human resources or related field and/or related experience.
  • Considerable knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ADP VE preferred), candidate relationship management systems, and social media platforms required. Experience with mobile technologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity and alignment with the Corporate Leadership Council's Talent Advisor competency model (process expert, pipeline manager, strategic advisor) preferred.
  • Proven track record of building the capacity of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication, and supervision efforts.
  • Creates a strong, mutually supportive work spirit and culture where people can do their best.
  • Establishes trust and inspires others.
