Primary Responsibilities * Performs visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, and optical inspections per inspection instructions and test procedures. * Uses basic to complex inspection equipment to verify product conformance. These tests may include dimensional, electrical functional and lighting. * Works from engineering drawings, specifications, quality assurance standards, test procedures, and verbal instructions to determine acceptance of product. * Participates in continuous improvement teams. May assist in process audits. * Presents hardware for customer source inspection. * Uses computer to document quality records, first article reports and job stat using. * Makes drawing, test procedure or process improvement recommendations to engineering. * Assists in training less experienced inspectors. * Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above * Understand and live by Esterline's ethics and business conduct policies Qualifications * Knowledge of shop mathematics, blue print reading, geometric tolerancing and SPC. * Demonstrated ability to use complex inspection measuring and test equipment. Especially CMM and OGP * Highly motivated and possess effective oral/written communication and interpersonal and team skills. * Must possess excellent time management skills (ability to multitask and delegate work to support peers).
