Project Manager

Provide leadership for Mikron projects assuring project time lines, budgets, and critical objectives are achieved. Responsibilities to include customer interface, project scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement, safety oversight, cost and progress monitoring, management and reporting.

Requirements:

•Identify, allocate and coordinate resources to meet project objectives and timelines. •Assure projects are approved by key stakeholders and clearly identify objectives, measurable, financials and time lines. •Manage the schedules of all members on the project team and allocate the workload to assigned individuals as necessary. •Develop and manage a method to track and monitor the progress of projects including a financial summary. •Prepare status reports and provide project updates to executive team. •Assess risk and identify solutions to issues as they arise. •Prepare and present formal presentations as necessary. •Manage key internal and external relationships to ensure projects move forward timely, within budget and within the project scope and objectives. •Provide ongoing professional guidance and direction to team members. •Authorize/approve all project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, change requests, etc. •Ensure all project policies, procedures and standards are in compliance with company guidelines. •Maintain official project log and documentation files. •Assure customers are aware of project status where appropriate. Education/Experience •Bachelor’s degree required, engineering preferred. •Demonstrated success managing several concurrent projects. •Strong oral and written communication skills. •Leadership skills including the ability to take ownership of projects. •Prior manufacturing experience required. •Familiar with lean concepts.
