The Bing Webmaster team is looking for a strong, self-motivated Program Manager who is motivated by identifying and working closely with top Bing customers and partners. You will be working as part of a team which is designing and building the Bing Webmaster Portal - a site which will be our partner’s point of entry into Bing related programs, resources, and tools. Building and leveraging an ecosystem based on strong partner relationships is critical to Bing’s success; this role will be pivotal in this work
As an experienced Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
Working with Product Management, Market Research, and Bing management to identify, contact, and build relations with Bing’s top customers.
Working with the partners to identify and prioritize features and capabilities for the Webmaster Portal.
Ensuring the Webmaster portal provides an experience to enable on-going communication with partners, a way to surface new Bing capabilities such that partners can find and opt in/out of them, and a way for partners to understand the impact on their sites, traffic, and customers based on their participation in Bing-related activities.
Working with development to select the correct technology solution, drive building the solution, and to rapidly iterate in order to provide a steady stream of new capabilities for our customers.
This role demands a wide range of skills including great communication collaboration, design, data analysis, problem solving and prioritization, and is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys a challenge and is passionate about providing world class experiences for our Search customers.
Qualifications include:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Program Management
- Demonstrated results driving complex external and internal partnerships
- Excellent leadership & communication skills, with a strong record of being an effective PM
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Since Bing launched in June of 2009, the search world has changed for the better. We’re helping people break free from search overload and enabling them to make decisions with Bing’s powerful, friendly tools. We’re attracting new users and changing how people think about Microsoft and Search. We have a long road ahead and we need your help! Key to our continued success in this hypercompetitive space is taking enormous volumes of data and turning them into useful, actionable information to drive increased user engagement through great Bing features and improvements. We’re talking petabytes of data about how searches succeed, how they fail, and how we can improve Bing and our partner properties like maps, commerce, travel, and more.
