Payloads 747 Interiors Integration Engineer 2\3

The primary responsibilities will be: Leading Integration effort for Interiors customer configurations in support of configuration development. Pricing and Offerability (P&O) oversight of non-catalog (TBS3) options and changes to ensure high level impacts are accounted for and proper level of detail is provided for quality work statements and offerability assessment. Leading/Managing Customer Introduction activities: configuration compliance, assuring customer expectations are met, and ensuring integration across teams. Leading, facilitating and providing issue resolution across multiple skills and organizations. Working with lead engineers to communicate program requirements and ensure issues are resolved with Customer Engineering, Supplier Management, Business Operations, Program Planning & Control, Interiors Responsibility Center and the Factory. A significant portion of the assignment will include communication with Interiors Management and Program Leadership and will require the following attributes: Good communication skills with ability to breakdown complex situations into explicit actions requiring management and program attention. Ability to present data and proposals in format that is clear and includes executable actions for leadership concurrence and support. Provide constructive input and avoid disruptive side effects of personal agendas. Have ability to understand multiple view points and arrive at understanding of tasks required to move forward with timely execution. An understanding of the impact of change to the configuration and schedule

Position requires the ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical issues with internal and external Boeing customers and suppliers. Excellent project and time management and multitasking skills needed. Must be able to work well in a team environment and have the ability to take proactive actions in sometimes ambiguous situations. Must be able to lead teams and meetings. Must be able to assign and track action items across groups.

Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, REDARS, IVT, , Interiors commodities and certification requirements is expected. Familiarity with CATIA, V4, V5, Enovia, and other standard Boeing computing software preferred.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Other Job related information
Prefer minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering. This is a HUB requisition that supports staffing requirements for several airplane programs in Washington State. Positions will be located in the Puget Sound area, WA.
