Occupational Health & Safety Specialist 4
Plans, implements and assesses occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Develops and leads training and instructions. Interprets and advises on the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations. Evaluates and provides selection advice on existing or emergent risk management control technologies. Leads audits, inspections and investigations and coordinates resolution of issues. Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections. Works with management to facilitate risk management decisions. Analyzes emerging technology for the identification of potential hazards and control methods.

Typical Education/Experience
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

This is a Safety Administrator position that is responsible for conducting activities in support of commercial airplane manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be a safety professional experienced with aircraft systems (i.e. aircraft maintenance, inspection, testing).
