They are currently seeking an experienced Network Security cific Requirements (required unless noted otherwise): * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology* 5 years of practical experience* Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Network Professional Certification: Security (CCNP-SEC) and Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) or equivalents preferred* Computer Information Systems Security Professional certification (CISSP)* Ability to pass a background check* Solid understanding of security concepts, principles and practices, including fundamental knowledge of OSI model and intrusion detection* Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining network security and network systems including: LANs, WANs, VPNs, Firewalls and IDS's* Experience with firewall/IDS installation, configuration, troubleshooting and on-going management* Experience Security investigations and Forensics* Experience with some or all common security and network security products such as CheckPoint Firewall-1, Netscreen, Cisco PIX, ISS products, Enterasys, Symantec products, etc.* Excellent communication and documentation skills utilizing MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel and Visio* Ability to perform after hours, shift work, and be on call via pager during designated periods* Cisco Certified Inter-network Expert (CCIE) is considered a plus
