MBA Recruiter
The role of the MBA Recruiter is to develop and enhance Amazon's visibility on campus in order to recruit and hire top emerging talent. The recruiter will manage 6-7 school relationships and act as the primary contact for those institutions, plus manage the geographical territory of North America for students who attend universities which we do not yet have formal programs. They will partner with fellow MBA recruiters and Industry recruiters to ensure we are capitalizing our candidate pool. This position will also drive candidate sourcing from non-targeted universities and sites such as MBA Focus, and national diversity events. They will partner with university representatives and student groups to ensure maximum exposure to the student population and work directly with the MBA recruiting coordinator to ensure those events are planned and managed appropriately. Additionally they will act as the lead for one of the four primary MBA functional groups (SFA, Operations, Product Management and HR) and attend S-team directs meetings and functional Steering Committee meetings.
The ideal person will demonstrate exceptional planning and project management skills combined with a solid track record of University or MBA recruiting.
Responsibilities include: • Partnering with the Manager of MBA Programs to ensure all ASK for Full-time and Intern positions is achieved. • Implement and manage school strategies to ensure we are maximizing our on-campus potential. • Develop sourcing strategies, plans and pipelines in order to capitalize on candidates from non-targeted schools and diversity events. • Act as the functional lead for one of the MBA programs and attend S-team direct meetings and partner with our industry partners and HR Business Partners to ensure we are utilizing all of our candidate pool. • Manage and track all candidates and offers as well as any competitive data. • Work with the MBA Recruiting Coordinator to update candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems. • Assist with management of the candidate interview schedules, coordination of post-interview debrief meetings, and summer intern events. • Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email. • Prepare and deliver all offers to candidates, tracking of the offers and manage all candidate preparation for new hire processes including but not limited to; offer management, relocation, background screening and placement. • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency. • Develop internal manager's interview skills by conducting interview training, and general training on the MBA Process. • Track metrics for all recruiting activities. • Travel will be required for this position, estimated at 35%.
5+ years of corporate campus and MBA progressive recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting • Must have experience with a building relationships with schools and internal customers • CTS/ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates • MS Office- including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer. • Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills. • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management. • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision. • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member. • Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team. • Leadership experience managing recruiters and coordinators • Bachelor's degree preferred
