JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing interior design services including research and selection of fabric, finishes, fixtures and specifications for WorldMark Resort interiors, while developing and maintaining effective vendor and resort relations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : To include the following; other duties may be assigned as needed.

* Interior design research and selection of materials, finishes and furniture.
* Assist in the identification, quantification and classification of resort refurbishment requirements including support of the planning and budget process.
* Identify, establish, and maintain sound-working relationships with qualified contractors, vendors, suppliers, and craftspeople required in executing interior and exterior resort refurbishment projects.
* Coordinate the scheduling, planning and implementation of identified resort projects funded through the annual refurbishment budget using the highest quality services and components at the best possible price.
* Communicate clearly and consistently with resort management and project manager on the status of any interior refurbishment projects affecting their resort/project.
* Oversee the logistics associated with interior resort refurbishment projects including the purchasing, shipping and transportation of goods and materials, as required, to the project site.
* Write contracts relating to the installation of design items.
* Be able to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have good computer skills and knowledge in Outlook, Excel, Word and Access.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
* 5 years work experience as an Interior Designer
* Hospitality/Hotel design background required
* Design Degree preferable
* High School Graduate and two years college
