The West Region field marketing team is looking for a Field Partner Marketing Manager to support the Corporate Accounts business in the Northwest area (NWA). This area includes Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Northern California and Northern Nevada.


In this role, you will be responsible for working with our managed partners to create plans across the Microsoft platform, driving Microsoft revenue with both new and existing customers. You will work hand-in-hand with partners to develop their marketing plans, create targeting strategies and track results. You will interact with a variety of partner types including local system integrators (LSIs), national system integrators (NSI), independent software vendors (ISVs) and large account resellers (LAR) to "land" West Region initiatives. In addition to your one-to-one engagement with partners, you will also work with your marketing counterparts to develop the local partner community; supporting programs lie managed partner calls, semi-annual in-person briefings and Worldwide Partner Conference. Finally you will have the opportunity to lead the planning and execution (with partners) of local events such as Roundtables and Executive Hosting to support the needs of the local market.


This is a critical individual contributor role that incorporates business strategy, marketing planning and execution. You'll work closely with a marketing specialist to support the business execute your campaigns and track results. You'll be joining a high performing, collaborative marketing team with strong sales connection.


We will consider candidates residing in any of the MS offices in the Northwest area. This role is responsible for:

- Leading the development and execution of integrated Marketing Plans for Managed Partners with the key focus on driving thru partner marketing driving on net new pipeline generation for the NWA.

- Creating comprehensive insight into the local Managed Partner base including the Marketing Professional community.

- Partner marketing reporting and ensuring that thru partner marketing results are reflected in our Microsoft systems

- Managing the area marketing budget.

-Driving customer and partner revenue objectives, marketing pipeline and velocity, and Customer Partner Experience (CPE) goals in this segment.


Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years' experience in marketing and have demonstrated leadership abilities.


- A successful candidate for this role should have a proven ability to work with partners on developing their business, marketing planning and execution with maximum ROI.

- Creative thinking and data mining through tools like Klondike will help you develop partner business and drive marketing plans.

- Demonstrated experience in working with partners to drive demand. Event, webcast and telemarketing experience are critical; web marketing, direct mail and PR are a plus!
