Business Operations Specialist Manager L
This manager will provide Business Operations leadership in support of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Process, Tools and Affordability (PT&A) organization. The PT&A organization works with BCA Functions and Programs to ensure all Commercial Airplanes computing processes and tools support entry into service for new programs, sustaining support and planned rate increases. This organization is also responsible for leading the Affordability initiative in support of all new airplanes and major derivatives. This Manager will work with Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) program and functional leadership ensure program level plans and schedules are consistent with Business Operations processes for managing cross-functional commitments. Creation and management of the Management Information System (MIS) that will enable program leadership to understand progress to plan and actions necessary to stay on plan. Presentation of recommended plans to executive leadership to gain approval. Authorization of work to execute approved plans in accordance with approved Business Operations processes. Management of the PT&A Long Range Business Plan process and integration of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP). Hiring and management of staff necessary to execute the above responsibilities. This position will have the authority to make any and all decisions necessary to execute responsibilities outlined above, consistent with limits that may be placed upon such activities. This position is accountable to the PT&A Director of Business Operations for results. Key Skills and Attributes include: Think strategically and analyze strategic alternatives.
