Job Description
As a BI Consultant, functional experience in finance and accounting will be useful in understanding client business requirements, and proficiency with TM1 Cognos or other OLAP applications will enable you to develop and implement efficient business intelligence solutions that meet their needs. A talent for leadership and project management could also result in your successful transition into a project management role. You will work closely with both internal teams and external clients, so strong interpersonal skills are a must. In addition to verbal communication skills within the context of training, presenting, listening, negotiating, and relationship building, your ability to communicate the written word just as effectively will facilitate clear documentation of project changes and outcomes. Lead our implementation projects from start to finish and become invaluable to Agile Systems as well as our clients!
The successful candidate will have no less than 3 years of functional business experience, coupled with strong technical skills in at least one of the below:
IBM Cognos TM1 Microsoft SQL Server & Analysis Services Microsoft Excel & Visual Basic Oracle / Hyperion Essbase Hyperion Enterprise, Hyperion Financial Management Arcplan (dynaSight) Individuals must have Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (CPA / MBA / CMA / CGA preferred) Strong proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, and financial reporting systems At least 3 years multi-dimensional OLAP experience in cube and database design (must have worked from installation through implementation) Understanding of Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Architecture Proven project management skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Willingness to travel
